I have not been lazy, but I have a lot of things that are not quite ready to see the light of day. I finally updated my " Other Blocks " section of my website.. but I wanted to show them off here too. Here I can talk a little bit about each one and the progress that needs to happen before I can send them out into the great interwebs. First up I have a small update with my Corpse Bride: Black Widow. My kind tester gave me a little bit of feedback and I have updated the pattern (the current one is still fine, I just combined two pieces) but I have yet to turn it into a proper PDF. That work must be done at night after the munchkins go to bed and I can use my home computer to do this stuff. Anyway, here is the tested piece! Next are some Harley Quinn themed easy geometric blocks. They will go together to make the larger quilt I hinted at last time I blogged . I actually have these printed out at home because I want to get my skills on par so I can make a full scale quilt ...

Patterning Update

Hi Everybody! Hope this week has treated you well. I am very close to finalizing the pattern for Maggot. I *hope* to post him here this weekend and get him submitted to Fandom in Stitches shortly after that. The tweaks I did to the pattern really didn't change much, but I think the revised construction order will make putting him together much easier. I haven't had much time to work on my other projects this week, which is a bit of a bummer. Sorry. Not my sewing machine... but same model I hope by the time I get home, my new old machine (White Rotary Series 77) will be up and running. My husband was supposed to fix the table while I was at work today so that I can start using it this weekend. I hope. We shall see. Some of the holes that hold the screws for a bracket that supports the weight of the machine while it is in use are stripped (it came to use that way) and needs to be repaired. It is a small fix, but it needs to be done before I can start learning how to use it...

Quid pro quo

I am taking a bit of a jump here. I submit for your viewing and reading pleasure a large Death's Head Moth specimen from one of my all time favorite movies: The Silence of the Lambs . This is the second ever pattern I created. I finished tweaking it today and I hope to have it tested soon. It is quite large at about 48 x 24 inches. I am quite proud that I reduced the colors down to 16. I plan on making a smaller version as well, but I am pretty proud of this too. I am not ready to show off my first pattern, as it is even larger and needs quite a lot more work ( teaser ). I will link if/when it is up on Fandom in Stitches if anyone is interested in using it. P.S. Corpse Bride is nearly monochromatic, and it is proving to be pretty hard to get a pattern to work out. I am not going to give up, I am just going to have to take some time to work it all out.
